About the Indiana Soybean Alliance

Founded in 1991, the Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) is a statewide organization that serves Indiana soybean farmers. The Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture recognizes ISA as a Qualified State Soybean Board (QSSB).

The Indiana Soybean Alliance manages the state’s soybean checkoff program, which funds research, promotion and educational programs that enhance soybean production and use. It also distributes industry information about Indiana livestock, biofuels, grain marketing, farm production and research, environmental programs, new use innovation, aquaculture and public affairs. The checkoff program is funded by Indiana soybean farmers.

The ISA is overseen by a board of directors, made up of 24 volunteer farmers who govern the organization's use of checkoff funds.
